Geospatial Coordinate Extraction

Conode uses address information to plot maps. If your data already contains latitude and longitude features, Conode can recognise them and will automatically plot a spatial view upon uploading the data.

If this doesn’t work, you can manually select the longitude and latitude features, open a new view from those nodes and toggle on the geospatial map.

If not, the Geocode agent located on the right side drawer can be used to extract the longitude and latitude coordinates from the address feature header, which will then facilitate geospatial visualisation of your data.

Tip

Make sure to add only 1 address feature into the Geocode Agent. This feature is the header node from your Home view, which contains individual addresses as successors nodes. Note that if your dataset contains multiple parts of an address field (Location Name, PostCode, City) you will first need to combine these features into a Full Address field using the Tranform Agent.

A new spatial view with a plot of the longitude vs latitude for the addresses will be opened.

Note that both the address nodes and their corresponding successors will be plotted in the new view.
